Sims 4 Mods & CC: Life & Death Mods

Just dropping links to some Sims 4 Life and Death Mods I've found, some of which I'll be using in my game, I'll update this post if I decide to use any other mods or significant pieces of CC for this DLC. All credit to the creators of these mods/cc. My complete Sims 4 mod list will also bee updated.

Mods may clash so pick and choose what works for you!

• More heirlooms (by Zerbu) - By default, a Sim can have a maximum of 5 heirlooms. Sims who have reached the “Quite a Journey” stage of their Soul’s Journey can have 8, and Sims with the Materialistic trait can have 10 (these don’t stack, so the Soul’s Journey perk is basically useless for Materialistic Sims). This mod triples the amount of heirlooms Sims can normally have - to 30 with the Materialistic trait and 15 without - and allows Sims who have reached the stage in the Soul’s Journey to have unlimited heirlooms.

• Hide "make heirloom" interaction (by BosseladyTV) - Converts the "Make Heirloom" interaction into a Shift-Click interaction!

• Slower soul's journey progression (by LunarBritney) - this mod slows down the progression of the Soul's Journey by reducing the number of points the goals from the bucket list, aspiration and wants give.

• No crow death warning (by Waffle's Mix-Ins) - when Sims provoke a crow too much, or it's angry, you'll get a notification warning that further provocation will result in deadly consequences. Chased by Death Sims get this warning every single time they interact negatively with the crow, too. This mod removes the notification but keeps the moodlet.

• Macabre weather buff tweaks (by Waffle's Mix-Ins) - Macabre Sims get a buff when it's raining. The buff reduces Energy decay to 45% of its normal value. This mod adjusts this to 85%, so it's not nearly as strong. It also boosts Energy Gain while the buff is active by 10%. Additionally, the buff is now no longer added to a Sim who has declared their Weather Preference to be "Hates Rain". The sun tweak ensures, the "Ew, Sun" buff only apply to Macabre sims who explicitly declared the Hates Sun weather preference.

• Everlasting doors (by Peacemaker) - Matching greenhouse doors to match the greenhouse windows that came in build/buy of this pack.

• Modern Grimpressions Kitchen Recolours (by ellesims) - I love the new kitchen set that came with this EP, here are some recolours.

• 'On Hallowed Ground' Lighting Bug Fix (by Natabear) - This mod fixes a bug with the new lot trait from Life & Death. Right now, when the lights flicker due to the lot trait, it causes all lights on the lot to reset to bright white. With this bug fix, your color/brightness settings should remain the same.

• Chased by Death Less Deadly (by VickySims) - This mod slightly reduces the dying chance with Chased by Death Trait.

• Macabre Trait Socials Fix (by VickySims) - This mod fixes a bug that EA didn't put Macabre trait socials inside any social pie menu. "Make Morbid Observation" is now under the "Deep Thoughts" Friendly pie menu. "Spread the Gloom" is now under the "Complaints" Friendly pie menu.

• Additional Bucket List Goals: Skills (by Konansock) - This mod adds 13 missing Skills to the Bucket List Goals. The skills and there corresponding goals ar found on the mod page.

• No auto think about heirloom owner (by ClaudiaSharon) - This mod removes the ability of sims to automatically think about the owner of an heirloom, you can still direct your sims to do it.

• Burning soul unlimited stamina (by Porphyry) - Ghosts with the burning soul trait have unlimited ghost stamina and can use their powers without fail.

• Ghosts essence increases needs (by Szemoka) - This mod adds some new interactions for Fear and Goodwill Essence. Using essence can increase ghosts' needs and ghost stamina.

• Grim reaper smoke trail for Grimborn (by Szemoka) - This mod gives the Grimborn sims a visual effect of the Grim Reaper's smoke trail.

• Gravesite with inventory (by Simnovate) - This adds an inventory to graves so you can store photos/collectables etc.

• Thanatology skill away action (by Sims4Me) - Left at home Sims can study thanatology skill.

• No new Life & Death Ghosts (by Sims4Me) - Once you play with the Life & Death pack, there are an aweful number of ghost townies created by the game. This mod stops the generation of unimportant ghosts for the Life & Death pack. The game will instead spawn existing ghosts. This excludes Alice, Edith and other important ghosts, so you can still play the pack without issues.

• No Life & Death Festival Notification Sound (by Sims4Me) - Silent Life & Death festival notifications. You will still get the notifications on the pinboard, but without the creepy sound.

• No Grim Job Offer Call (by BossLadyTV) - If you want the job you can still get it, you just won't get the pop-up offering you the job!

• More funeral guests (by Sims4Me) - This mod increases the number of guest you can invite for a funeral from 8 to 19. It also stops random Sims from showing up at graveyards during a hosted funeral event.

• Mourning socials (by Sims4Me) - Adds new social interactions for Sims after someone passes away.

• No macabre pose in Ui (by SimplyAnjuta) - This mod disables the macabre pose (see below) for the Ui.

  

• Permenant Bucket List (by SashaT1804) - As a living Sim, when reaching the Dreams Fulfilled stage of the Soul's Journey, the progression will stop as usual until becoming a ghost, but the bucket list will not disappear anymore, and new goals can still be generated. Progress will then restart once the Sim dies, and when they reach the very last stage, no more goals can be generated but the already existing bucket list goals can still be seen and taken care of.
